Nestled on the bank of the eternal Ganga, Kanpur stands as one of North India’s major industrial centers with its own historical, religious and commercial importance. Kanpur is located approximately 450 Km from Delhi and 80 Km from Lucknow and is well connected with plenty of trains from all parts of the country. D. B. S. College a well reputed Post Graduate college of C. S. J. M. University, Kanpur is situated in Govind Nagar, the southern part of the city and about 5 Km. away from Kanpur Central Rly Station. The college [Accredited B (2.69) by NAAC] was established in 1959. The department of Physics was established in the year 1962 and is well known for its academic activities and research work. The excellent research contribution by the member of faculty of department is recognized by UGC by sanctioning Major and Minor Research Projects.

Please send the abstract and full length papers on various topics of seminar by 10th January 2011. We will publish proceeding containing papers and abstracts of the papers accepted for Oral and Poster presentation in the seminar. The paper/abstract should in MS - word file in single spacing Times New Roman font (12 pts). Author's name (with affiliation and E- mails) should be after the title of paper. Please do not include figure, tables and references if submitting only abstract. The abstract should not be more than 200 words.
